Job Description

We are always searching for talented “A” and “B” level Equipment Technicians. If you believe you are a great fit, we want to meet you!

Equipment Technicians must have experience in the following areas:

  • Diesel engines
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Tier 4/ common rail diesel technology
  • Electrical systems
  • Air conditioning systems
  • Basic computer skills

Daily Duties:

  • Conducting equipment and preventative maintenance inspections
  • Diagnosing and repairing all major systems on compact and agricultural equipment
  • Performing system rebuilds and overhauls
  • Welding
  • Work effectively with all levels of the company — Parts, Service, Sales, Rental
  • Performing any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in equipment service operations
  • Strong mechanical background including excellent skills in diesel mechanics, hydraulics, electrical.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, organized, energetic, and capable of staying cool under pressure from multiple ongoing projects

Physical Requirements

  • Be able to effectively communicate with customers
  • This position is very active, requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day.
  • Employee but frequently lift and/or move items over 50lbs

We are currently searching for a reliable full-time Delivery Driver at our Clarksville, TN location. Delivery Drivers play a key role in our customer relations and will require the Ability to load, deliver, and demonstrate equipment to the customers of Coleman Tractor as assigned by the Service Manager. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion for helping customers with a can-do attitude exceeding our customer’s expectations. Some early, late or overnight travel may be required. Some early Saturday deliveries may be required.

As Coleman Tractor Company continues to grow, we have an opening for a Parts Manager at our Nashville location, which will be moving to Joelton tentatively in 2023. The role of the Parts Manager is the day to day operation of the Branch’s Parts Department in compliance with established policies and procedures.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plans, directs and controls the activities of the Parts Department to ensure the overall growth and profit objectives are met.
  • Formulates the major objectives, specific plans, plan procedures and programs for the Parts Department.
  • Evaluates the department’s results and performance against objectives.
  • Maintains the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving the customer and identifying their needs via phone and/or in person.
  • Looking up, securing, receiving and distributing parts for customers.
  • Invoicing for the parts, freight, and other billable charges correctly.
  • Maintenance of the work area, keeping it free from safety hazards.
  • Periodic inventory for the parts department
  • Sells products and/or services to repair the problem and meet the customer’s needs.
